Who: Bønna (Bjørn Tore), The Dane (Per) & EvilDuck (Tom)
Where: Oltedal
Map: Uburhedlaren is marked with a big red dot.

The Dane told us, after looking at the pictures from Vedafjell, that there was a cave in Oltedal where people lived after fleeing from the Germans during WW2. So we all desided to go visit this cave. The cave is called Uburhedlaren and is approx 150 square metres. 80 people lived there for 3 days. The youngest one was only two months and the oldest 82 years old. The name Uburhedlaren is dialect and may come from the word "utbur" ie a place unwanted or deformed children were placed. It is unknown if the cave was ever used for this though. Besides when I was placed there by Bønna and The Dane. :)

193 570   This is The Dane, he almost ran up the scree. Bønna and I crawled up the hill with oxygen masks on (I wish!). The Dane is almost twice our age, and he is a smoker.
116 341   We reached our goal, the cave entrance. I am oh so happy the climb is over hehe
85 650   The Dane and Bønna relaxing with provisions inside the cave.
78 715   And again. Good thing the pictures don't show how sweaty they are. It was a very hot and humid day.
94 159   The entrance, seen from the inside. Notice the tube on the window frame, it contains a guestbook.
65 369   Same as above, this time without the flash. We just can't stop experimenting with the camera. We'll learn how to use it soon enough.
88 879   Inside the cave, nothing to see here really, go away!
82 553   Now what do you drink on a hot and humid summer day? Well according to The Dane, hot chocolate is the ticket. I waited til mine was cold.
153 637   Really nice view outside the cave.
144 108   Playing with the zoom lens, cameras can be so much fun! Wheee! hehe
119 764   This is where we are going next (yeah right, in my dreams). I wonder how high that mountain top is?
148 874   Steep enough for yah? I wouldn't want to try to climb this rock.
162 395   Looking through the window into the cave. I think they forgot to put glass in it.
187 319   An over excited Bønna grinning like a maniac as I take his picture from way above.
103 341   The Dane is looking up into the air. Most likely dreaming of better times and better company hehe
178 711   Ever seen a Swiss mountain goat? I could almost pass as one I think, just look how I bounce down the scree!
164 497   Bouncing along, light as a feather! The Dane is waiting for the young ones, as per usual. Is it just me, or is he doing his Santa Claus impression here?
193 394   This picture was taken just after my 4th heart attack for the day. I am back on my feet walking down the hill.
145 344   Bønna gets in another butt-shot, and The Dane is waiting for us *again* hehe
170 140   I think perhaps it would be less painfull to just fall down the hill, it goes on for ever and my feet are hurting. I must have walked at least 200 metres by now!
169 645   Yes, it actually is less painfull falling down the hill. See me go, go EvilDuck, go!
177 791   I think Bønna fell asleep behind the camera again. Either that or he just loves it when people hide behind trees.
121 259   The local water driven power plant. We only have water powered power plants in Norway, nice clean energy.
98 532   Where there's a power plant, there's a dam. Sometimes they open the dam, without notifying people in the area. This sign tells you to run like hell, save yourself! It's nice with a bit of warning.
142 046   This looks like water, we better run!
164 978   OK so the water isn't really rushing. Neither are we. It's a nice little river.
103 301   Call Superman or develop your own x-ray vision, cause then perhaps you are able to see the fish swimming in this water inside the power plant.
